Putting on my new KYB shocks and have 2 questions. Just want to make sure you have one rubber spceer"donut" on top with the 2 bolts holding it all down and then one under unseen. In other words splitting the 2 rubbers corect?

Also, mine came with 2 stainless spacers. I assume they go on each side of the bottom shock with the long bolt running betreen them.
Problem is only the rear one will go in. Not enought space for the front.
The Easy riders that were on there had none. QUESTION. Leave thge spacers off or leave the rear on that I can get in . Better both off or get one on ????

Thanks.... A greasy and hot Jim

The rubber should have a bottom and top half with the metal support point between them. At least that's how every shock I've done works. I use two nuts on top. One locks the other ont.

I would recommend you have two spacers of equal length. You can use stacks of washers if you cant machine the spacers.

Well I can say after my first ride on the new Kyb front shocks. Easy Riders SUCK.

Way to soft. Like I said I could sit on the corner fender and bottom both sides out easily. Now it feels like a different car. Less noise,no jarring, smoother with less bounce.
Guess when you do not have anything to compare something to you do not know how bad something is.
