K & N Performance Filter part #??

Anyone know the K & N performance air filter part number?? I found a bunch here locally but I don't know the part number.

I just replaced my paper filter for a K&N. I was quite shocked that I actually felt a bit of a difference. My paper filter had about 600 miles on it so it was practically new. The car seems to rev up a bit faster. Nothing earth shattering but nevertheless, a difference.

The biggest difference I felt was when I chucked the original air intake pipe and replaced it with the cold air intake without the hot air check valve. I'm pretty sure mine was faulty and stuck in the closed position at all times.

So I called my local parts store and that filter clocks in at $97.00. DMC sells them for $40. Just FYI.

Yeah, I am going to go back to a couple of stores and check on the price here today. I am always in favor of supporting DMC. FYI: I did find some on ebay for $31.
