What is the proper screw to attach the license plate bezel. Currently mine has M5 X .8 but it doesn't feel like the proper screw. I'm wondering if it should be M6.

...and are they supposed to be black or stainless? Mine are stainless, a friends are black. Both cars came to us that way.

I changed from black to stainless and don't really like the look. At the last tech day someone had black Allen-key ones (whatever they are called) which I am going to change to.
Sorry don't recall the size

The screw used in Grady's black stainless steel kit for the license plate bezel is 10/24 X 1-1/4. The kit is very nice and better than painting the screws, which I did for awhile.

Jeff, you are right. I got some stainless steel in that size and they fit perfectly. The old M5s were just catching and so they would hold the bezel up but they did not fit. Now all is good. Thanks.
