Oil Sending Unit

Greetings All,

My oil pressure gauge is pinned, so I guess it's time for a new sending unit. Looks straight forward enough, but do I need to drain any oil out before removing the old one?

Any input would be appreciated.

Nope - Nothing will come out (assuming the engine is off!). Just unscrew it and put in the new one. Once in a while they can be pretty sticky. Easier with the oil filter off.
