Hey everyone. Im begining to disassemble the engine and here is where im at so far. 1074510744107471074610748

As you can see, the last valve #6 has a crack in the lip and someone had tried to cut and wedge the o-ring to create a "seal". after removing everything from the valley I had the pleasure of scooping out atleast a gallons worth of dirt, mud, leaves, and a few socket bits left in there from someones marvelous handy work. I plan to have a new set of heads ordered from speacial-T as I can imagine mine will need a full rebuild. Any thoughts?

You still have a lot of stuff to get out of there. The 4 smaller square recesses in the block valley are a couple of inches deep. Get a small screwdriver and a shop vac, it is extremely important to get it clean and make sure you don't have block corrosion down there.

I'd expect that you won't get your core charge back on that head either.
