I was able to borrow a great set of racing scales. I weighed my Delorean with a full tank of gas, no driver, unloaded. It is very stock with significant weight added. Here are the results:

LF 532 RF 521
LR 900 RR 915
Total 2868

Cross 1421 49.5%
Left 1432 49.9%
Rear 1815 63.2%

The label on the car indicates the Gross weights as:
3244
F 1286
R 1958

Some interesting results. 3244-2868=376 Not much available for 2 people AND stuff in the trunk!!!!!! And all that useable load is supposed to go on the front wheels. 900+915=1815 1958-1815=143
532+521=1053 1286-1053=233
The car is very evenly weighted side-to-side.
The car is very heavily biased front to rear (63.2%) but we already knew that.

The standard used for average weight for and adult in 1981 was probably 170 lbs. We all know the real world numbers today is closer to 200 lbs. A full tank of gas is approx 80 lbs

Is this car a manual or an automatic? I ask because when I was doing the swap, there was a pretty significant difference in weight between the 2. Id say at least 50-100 lbs.

Good point! I should have mentioned this car is an automatic. I don't think there is a big difference in weight though. You don't have the whole clutch system and the gearshift is much simpler. The automatic would be slightly heavier probably. Maybe 50# at most. It would be worth weighing several cars to catch these kinds of variations. The biggest surprise to me was how quickly you can overgross the weight on the Delorean! Two adults taking the car for a weekend with some luggage and using the luggage rack and you are WAY over!

Every 29 lbs you can move from the back to the front will transfer 1% bias up front as well :) Move 377 lbs up front and have 50/50 bias!! haha.
