I was removing my swaybar and installing Toby's sway bar kit when I noticed the swaybar is slightly bowed in the middle. it's symmetrical, maybe a quarter inch or so.

Is this ok or is it worth replacing? My guess is previous owner did it by bottoming out the front a few times.

Thanks
Jeff

You should be able to bend it straight. If it is bowed it will through the camber off on both front wheels. If the sway bar is bent you should check the frame and brackets too.

Thanks David, that makes sense. Frame and brackets seem fine. How do I bend that back? I that something for a shop?

Good question.. Bowed up from the middle . Like it bottomed out a few times and kept bumping it. It's very slight.

Mine is slightly bowed forward.
