First of all, pretty good show in Orlando, especially seeing Proto One change hands and the stretch limo and T-rex,etc,etc...but,the point of this posting is to see how everyone faired with their cars, travelwise.I have to brag on my high mileage "D".Smooth sailing down and back, over 1200 miles driven without so much as a hiccup.Didn`t use a drop of water and maybe, maybe a pint of oil.Speaking of oil,it is just as clear now as when I left for the trip.No overheating even in that miserable Florida heat.Left Sunday at 10 a.m. and pulled into my driveway in Asheville,NC at 6:30.pretty much pushing almost 3000 RPMs the whole way.(70+mph)Also managed 23-24 mpg.How about you?Steve6864.

Mine ran like a champ, no mechanical issues. Worst MPG was 20 and best was 23.5. This was my auto trans car, with a passenger and fully loaded. The 5speed Stage 2 car I was traveling with was getting right around 30, which is what my stock 5speed will get as well. Just as we left Orlando, I had a connector to my subwoofer go out, but that was an easy fix once I got home. Also, during a terrible thunderstorm I had just a little leaking of the door seals on Thursday. It has never leaked before, but then again I have never been caught in a rainstorm that hard either. Last thing to mention was the A/C condenser freezing up a little, but when it runs for hours on end, I kinda expect that. It seemed to be colder after we stopped for gas and let it melt/rest a little. I haven't bothered checking vital fluids (oil, coolant, etc.) to see if any is missing, but I'll do that when I get back home this weekend.
