Is it just me or does every single post by Dave seem helpful is some way? I've been a member of other car clubs and forums and it's not common to see this. I think all his posts are positive and helpful. Cudos to DMCMW! It very rare to hear all positive things about a member/vendor. Amazing how he'll take time out of his no doubt busy day to post here AND answer phone questions that he's probably heard before a thousand times. I wish some other communities would have this caliber of people. Ok I'm done. Just wanted to express some gratitude. People are quick to complain, but to post something good? Not so much!

Yup, the whole team at DMCMW is great. I feel really lucky to only be a couple hours away from Crystal Lake. The service and turnaround on parts is always above and beyond my expectations so I do my best to give them my business whenever I can. If there was more I could do to say thanks I would!

Yes, I also agree it is very generous of Dave S to freely donate his time and hard learned experience to this Forum. You have to believe it can cost him some labor because some will try to fix things themselves instead of going to his shop but the upside for him is that they may buy their parts from him. Also by helping those that are too far away for him to service they may still choose to patronize him for parts for all of his advice. In any case we are very fortunate that he so willingly helps us all.

I am 800 miles(one way) from DMCMW and drove there for an upgrade install and service for my car. I was not disappointed, Dave, Julie and Mike were great and it is clear that they know their stuff and take no short cuts. Dave is generous with his advice and always willing to take time to walk you through an issue. Those who live reasonably close to DMCMW are fortunate, my only wish would be for them to open a second location in VA, NC or OH.

I met Dave and Julee at DCS and was very impressed with them! Dave was really sharp witted and Julee was very sweet. I will be dealing with them for sure when I get my Delorean!:approve:

This is a true statement, Dave has been so helpful on here that I now buy 100% of my parts through him and Julee, despite the increased lead times it can sometimes mean (calling IL to order parts that may have to ship to CA via TX? Still worth it.)

I live about 4 hours from Houston and about 15.5 hours from Crystal Lake. I've never ordered directly from DMCH but I can say that I've always gotten my parts faster from DMCMW than from the other vendor in Texas.

At DCS on Sunday morning I was sitting in the foyer whiling away a couple of hours. Dave passed me on his way to checkout and we nodded.

It can't have been two minutes later when I logged on here and he had already answered two questions since he passed me. I actually wondered if he had a doppelganger back at the shop covering for him while he was gone, so i looked round the corner and there he was on the laptop, typing away.

True story.

The man lives and breathes this stuff.

Dave came to my house for a tech session while he was visiting his family in SC approximately 3 hours away (one way) about two years ago. He did something to each car there and didn't ask for an ounce of compensation. I don't think any of the other vendors would offer to do the same.

I keep trying to get Julee to tell me what I can do for the guy to thank him, and every time she says something along the lines of "he does it because he loves it," and I leave the conversation none the wiser.

We should all put our heads together and come up with something.... :thumbup2:

If he ever needs a kidney, there'll be a list of willing donors; that's for sure.

Hey, I live some 7000 kilometers away from Dave and Julee, and I can confirm " great people".
It was nice to have seen them again at DCS.

We should all chip in and buy him a carburetor.
