Didn't see that anyone had posted this yet.

I was driving home tonight and I saw 11023 at Foreign Affairs on Excelsior Blvd in Hopkins, MN. It's in pretty sad shape. It was getting dark and I didn't think I could get good pictures but I will see if I can get a few tomorrow. It's a gray interior and the interior didn't look good. I didn't see if it was an auto or 5 speed but I'll try and catch that tomorrow, too.

Just in case anyone local is interested.

Just in case anyone local is interested.

Someone is always interested, not just local. This is one of the some 980 VINs missing from the DeLorean Registry (which is not the same as the DeLorean Owners Directory, or DOD). Now we know that car is in the MN.

Thanks for reporting.

Fair enough. :)

I hadn't had a chance to look for the vin in any lists yet and hadn't thought of that. I'll be out and about today. I'll try and confirm the VIN and get a few pictures.

Glad he's got the de-ice shield on his car. Must be useful in MN.

Sad to see it sitting there in such poor condition...looks like it has been there a while.

Any idea if it was for sale or not?

I did stop and get a few pictures. It's an automatic and appears to have been in Colorado (and unregistered) recently.

I tried to get a bit of a view into the underside but I don't think my pictures are that great.

I called the shop just now. The person I spoke to said it was in to be fixed and not for sale. I didn't pursue that any further.

Wow. The bits of the frame that are visible are in surprisingly good shape! I'd take that frame any day.
