So I am finally putting my engine back together!!!

Best way to have everything perfectly Sealed???

In another thread it was mentioned to, use The Right Stuff, Permatex!

Use it on both Valve covers! Put it on the block and the valve covers and put the gasket in between!

For the timing cover, I was told not to use the gasket, only to put the Right Stuff alone instead!!

As far as the other parts you see in my pictures, and anything I left out??

The water Y-pipe definitely needs something more than just the seals, O-rings!! There is a chip under on one side of the Y-pipe!! Should I use the Right Stuff or something else on that!!

1. The 2 Water Necks??
2. The back cover of the water pump?
3. The top part of the water pump?
4. The 6 O-rings on the bottom of the whole intake unit?
5. air Mixture unit?
6. The W pipe??
7. The middle part between the W pipe and air mixture?

I you all can really help me on this, tell me part by part, if I should use anything extra, or just leave it with the New Seal/O-rings or gasket!!

Thank you!!!!

I forgot to mention, the 3 sensors that go on the Water Y-pipe, do I use anything on the threads??

Thank you!!!

Wouldn't recommend using Right Stuff on the valve cover gaskets. Those come off more frequently for valve adjustments at service intervals. If you use gasket maker there, you'll have to clean the area each time you reassemble, which will be annoying and lead to the possibility of contamination in the valve train. Just use the standard gaskets up there. Dave at DMCMW has nice thick new ones available that should survive a few removals/reinstallations.

OK cool!!

As far as the other parts, I just use the normal gaskets, and O-ring seals??

You recommend anything for the water Y-pipe that I mentioned? and the water pump parts, back part, top part??

O-rings I usually use grease or Permatex #2. Parts that need to be removed I use Permatex #1 on one side of the gasket and Permatex #2 or nothing on the other side of the gasket. My "W" pipe has none on one side but it's a thicker gasket so it seals fine. Valve covers I would still use sealer on both sides. Oil will tend to "creep" if no sealer is used.

Thank you for the info!!
