Rear Defog switch fell apart

At DCS Orlando someone reassembled my rear defogger, but something went wrong, and it didn't quite work out. He mentioned that he posted a HowTo on the forum but I can't find it. (I'm thinking it was the old forum). When I pulled it apart, the tiny curved metal bit was wedged on its side ( the switch was permanently in the ON position when i plugged it in). Can someone show me/tell me where the tiny curved metal bit fits in?

Ah, you mean the "blind rage" switch, as I like to call it. Spent about three hours so far trying to put the frickin' thing back together after it fell apart. I'm just going to order a new one! :p

I know the how-to you're thinking of. It was in French or German or something. I translated it and saved the text and photos into a Word.doc file. When I get back to my computer I'll upload it here. I never could get it reassembled though. My fingers aren't patient enough.
