Hey guys,
I'm looking to get the tools to test the primary & control pressures. For those of you that have done it yourself, what do you use and were might one buy the stuff? I know that Harbor Freight has a fuel pressure kit of some kind. I don't know if that would work on our PRV so I figured I'd see what the rest of the community is using. Thanks for the help.

What problem are you having that you need to see the pressures? You only really need to measure the pressures if you suspect a problem with the CPR to confirm it is bad. Or if you want to confirm you are not holding rest pressure. That can be done another way. If you are having hard hot restart and the plug swap gets you going it is a good bet you are not holding rest pressure. The symptoms of a bad CPR would be lousey running during warm-up.

I think this tool should be mandatory for a DeLorean DIY owner. I'm sure I've used it at least two dozen times and on multiple DeLoreans. Very handy to eliminate possibilities when diagnosing. If people who are frustrated with Kjet owned one they might start to understand it.

+1
If your having engine problems, First thing to check is primary pressure, then control pressure. Primary pressure is done with the engine off and RPM relay jumpered. Control pressure needs to have the engine running.

Hot starting is fine, runs crappy until warm. I'm pretty sure it is the CPR, but I would prefer to know for sure before spending the money on one.

I do agree that if you own a Delorean this is a must have. I'm amazed its taken me so long to get one.
