Hi everyone.

Has any owners made their own shirts or T-shirts? The last few car shows I had attended, no one knew I was the Delorean owner for my car and kind of looked puzzled when scanning the crowd. I have the delorean LE Cap, but doesn't seem to be grabbing their attention. I know there's a few T-Shirts you can buy, but these are more of a casual affair than something looking professional.

I know some of the DMC service guys/gals have them for work purposes.

I am tempted to get one put together and have it printed. Has anyone done this before?

I've made some shirts for a club I was involved in and also for my kids. I haven't put together a D shirt yet but I am playing with some designs. When I am finished my busy season I will probably play around with it.

It's pretty easy if you do your homework, just look on youtube for instructional videos. I bought a starter kit off the Internet for about 300 bucks, and bought some blank tshirts at walmart for about 5 bucks a piece. I used a vector art program like illustrator to create the artwork. The kit is only intended for small runs, but for me the ability to make a one off shirt is good.

FYI: I updated some of my shirt designs so they look a bit more understated (smaller artwork, on the left side of the chest). Free shipping his week, too. You can check them out at http://society6.com/geoffombao/tshirts

As time permits, I'll be creating new artwork... But it's been real busy lately.

Does look pretty good Geoff! Very similar to what I had in mind, but maybe a polo shirt with the exact same front as your T, with DMC logo across the back. Or vice-versa. Going to look online to see what I can find. I really only want 1-2 shirts as I will only wear them to car events.

Just tried one of those websites to build my own t-shirt with print and the price nearly knocked me out of my chair!

So I bought one of yours Geoff, will see how they fit when I get it. :)

Sorry to hear that the on demand printing site you tried was too expensive, but glad you gave Society6 a shot! :-) I hope it meets your expectations (please let me know).

::Shameless plug alert!::

Just wanted to put it out there that I made a second batch of the shirts that I was selling at DCS.

Door ajar symbol on the front, DeLorean Dash on the back.

That was you? Awesome.

I got one of them and I love it. You should definitely keep doing them because I might end up getting another.

I got one of the first Ed had made as a test several years ago, it has held up beautifully.

Very nice. I also like the polo shirt option versus the tee. Are there other versions or just the EU one?

Got mine too... The button with the wheel pattern is a nice touch and the gull wing piping on the back.

Cheers

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with quality and design of this shirt. Heavy cotton and polyester blend material. True to it's size. A lot of attention to details. Delorean wheel buttons, rear light, patch, logos and graphics in and outside of this shirt. Not bad for $64 shirt. Definitely a good buy, especially for any D owners.

Received one myself courtesy of the Eurotec Club and can only echo the comments above, really well detailed and very good quality. Well worth investing in one.

OK, you sold me, I purchased one. Europe really seems to have their clubs nicely put together with lots of merch, up to date websites and lots of support.

Too bad I can't say the same for the Delorean Owners Association, which is a total scam.
