Today I was looking over my car, and I noticed the gap between the front fascia and the hood was larger than I had ever seen before. So, I pushed it back in about half an inch quite easily. How does one go about tightening the fascia so it stays in place? Now, it is slightly warped so that is partly the reason of the ill-fit, but I don't think it should be loose like it is. After aligning it as best I can, how do I keep it in that position? Thanks

You have to remove the hood to get to the screws. There is a fiberglass support that slides into a slot on the front top of the fascia. There are about 8 bolts that hold it together. The support is attached to the car and the other end is bolted to the fascia. I think the holes are rounded to allow movement of the fascia.

The new fiberglass fascia now have this brace built into the fascia and attaches with 4 screws.

Hope this helps you out.

Okay, so the hood needs to come off. Maybe this winter. Thanks.
