No not really. It will be a lot harder and more work to try to do so than to just pull the intake in the first place.

On turbo engines, it is easy to remove the turbo to intercooler metal pipe that runs over the top of the distributor, makes it much easier to deal with the wiring and access to the No. 5 plug if you are changing it. Pipe attaches with hose clamps at each end to rubber hose sections

If I recall correctly, you dont need to remove the entire intake assembly (all the way to the valley), just the mixture controller and the W pipe. You dont even have to pull all the fuel hoses from the fuel distributer. If you just remove them from one side, you can pretty much unbolt the whole assembly and lay it off to the side in the engine bay.

You can do even less than that. If you take the WUR off the valve cover and just disconnect the feed line from the fuel tank to the FD, you can move the whole mixture control unit over to the right, well clear of the distributor. You may need to pull the injectors out of the LH side of the motor but that's easy enough to do, especially since you're planning to remove your plug wires anyway.

Great, thanks for the tips everyone! I have only had my Delorean a few weeks and still have much to learn. lol

Be sure you use new copper crush washers when you reconnect any fuel lines that you've disconnected! A fuel leak is never a good thing, especially over a hot engine.
