Is there a rule of thumb when adjusting the CO screw? i.e. CCW until snug and then CW X number of turns as a start point? I am not sure if the CO screw is close to correct +/- 1/2 a turn...
Thanks

Yes... Its called "cracking" the injectors.
Pull out all of the injectors and place them in glass jars. Jump the fuel pump to run continuously. Now, turn the screw clockwise until they start spraying fuel. Finally, back it off CCW until they just barely stop spraying. Ideally if the injectors are in good shape none will be dripping at this time either.
Now you have an almost perfect spot for fine-tuning with a dwell meter.

What Jim said.
From my experience you can distort your results by placing too much (downward) pressure on the allen key. Make sure you're not doing so.
