Any suggestions on how to loosen the stuck caliper bolts? All 4 of mine are stuck, I used a socket and wrench, hit with hammer for at least 2-3 minutes on one of them. Did not even budge.

Also, when looking in the tire compartment in the front right, what is that canister there? Coolant??? Seems like I might have a small leak because the frame was a little greasy underneath the pipes there.

Thanks,

Sean

Impact wrench

Air Conditioner receiver/dryer (accumulator). Greasy = leaky o-rings, and that shows where the freon went.

Is an impact wrench sold at Auto Zone or similar store?

Thanks! That makes sense now why it needed a recharge when I bought it.

Would my impact drill work?

I just used my impact gun. How long should I keep it on? I ran it on the bolt for 30 seconds, no movement.

I had the same problem, I ended up using a product called Freeze Off that I picked up at NAPA auto parts. It super cools the bolt to shrink it slightly and breaks the rust allowing the penetrating oil to seep in. A three foot long breaker bar also helped to provide enough leverage to break some bolts loose. Good luck!
