Hi all,
I have Delorean.eu silicone hoses. Need some help IDing some hoses! The ones circled in red not really sure, especially the blue hose on bottom!
Which ones do I use for the back of water pump too pipe(S/S pipe) and from S/S pipe to heater control valve? Do I cut them down for that?
Thank you!

Anyone???
Long black ones = hoses to heater core lines either to the core or from the engine. Small ones on the left bridge connect to the DS head/'t' fitting/heater control valve on back of engine. Blue one PS line in front of the expansion tank maybe?

Here we go

Marked red:
Top row: heater circuit (rear, going to front)
Second row left: heater circuit (heater valve behind engine block)
Second row right: waterpump to metal waterpipe (IIRC)
Low row blue: aluminum pipes right had side between the two going down to the front (IIRC)
FYI: I only have the black (unmarked) hoses as I feel the brand on the hoses is a bit too much "in your face".
I like subtitly (like Ford does (only small and only at each end of a hose).
If you haven't removed all hoses prematurely, you will recognise the correct position by comparing with the old hoses.
That's the way I have done the replacements.

It should be noted that the very top hose is enlarged on the left side. This is the side that connects to the heater pipe exiting the engine valley. The other end goes to the undercar heater line. If you try putting it on backwards you will get frustrated. The sizes of the pipes do not match.
Can you please tell me if you bought the kit with the clamps inside, or did you bought them separately?

I really can't remember. I bought these about a year ago from delorean.eu Can't remember is they came with the kit or seperate. I just checked his website but I don't see any clamps anywhere.
All right, I will ask to Ed someday, unless he read this thread and answer it.

For real. On the one hand I don't care about them being there since its not like these things will be seen on a regular basis. On the other hand, they ARE a completely unnecessary and extraneous addition and since they ARE pointless I'm wondering how much production (and subsequently retail) costs could be reduced if this step could be eliminated from manufacturing.
If its between paying a buck or two less per hose or having a logo printed on it, I'll take the savings every day of the week.

The black ones look like they come on a reel preprinted and are then just cut to length, so I wouldnt expect any great saving with or without logo.
The blue ones however look like they are applied by hand after the hose is cut to length.

DMCMW offers a correct style SS clamp kit for the silicone hoses. They also sell the Silicone hose kit from EU.

My thoughts were exactly the same, so my one and only order through Hervey was for his silicone hoses which are $100 cheaper without the logos.

There is a little secret that no many dealers wanted you to know:
Something called Private Label.
Manufacturers often give dealers a discount if they request private label, that is, if for instance, you sell batteries, and your are buying Interstate batteries for $100.00 each with one year warranty included.
You may ask Interstate batteries if they are interested in private label, or sell you batteries with DMC logo, for example instead of their Logo.
Interstate batteries may offer you a 10% discount plus your logo in exchange for warranty.
Now you buying a brand new DMC battery at $90.00 instead of $100.00. You win because your new battery have your logo and it is 10% cheaper, and Interstate batteries wins because they don't have to worry about warranty issues. Now, if you sell 10 batteries and one need to be replaced, you still win because your batteries have your logo.
Now, big chain companies pass their discount to customers but some smaller companies will jack up the price instead.
This can be done with almost any product, like Gates radiator hoses for instance.
How do I know? I own a business and I'm often offered that kind of deals.
In other words, just because you see the DMC logo doe not necessarily means that that dealer did pay extra for that logo, could even be the other way around!

Not all the silicone hoses are made the same, silicone hoses made in China may not be the same quality as some made in Germany.

To be more clear, special with quality parts. is what you pay is what you get.
If you only count the layers the silicon hose is made off, you know what you bay.
And the Logo is a real cheap thing, all the strait come of a big roll.
No hand is needed to get it on, so i am happy you feel it is expansive.
Did you see the new brake pad? With logo for the same price.

There are six hoses in the middle row to the right for the coolant pipes. I guess they are all supposed to be the same length. But the two shorter ones to the left of them in the middle of the pictures, are they the ones going to the radiator?

The short one is on the rh side bottom of the radiator 6 cm, the other one is for the LH top of the radiator. 10cm

Are the rest supposed to be the same size? Besides the one that is 6 an 10cm for the radiator, I have one more that is around 10,5 and the other six are around 12cm.

I just recently installed these believe it or not, after all these years. Quite a process restoring a car. I have Lawrence's S/S coolant pipes.
