Installing Thermister, Vacuum switch, and Lambda Switch Into Y Pipe

I'm putting mine back together and I don't seem to remember any crush gaskets or sealant used when I took mine apart but I just wanted to be sure. Has anyone used any gasket sealant just to be safe? Any harm in doing so? What about any crush washers? The parts manual doesn't say anything about using them.
