Does anyone have these? Are they a pressed-on cap like the original ones or are they solid? I can't tell from the photo. I have already started losing the caps from my <1 year old Hervey replacement nuts and want a better solution. I like the original look but will investigate the Honda ones mentioned elsewhere if I have to.

I purchased a set of lugs from DMCMW, and so far so good (all of 2 weeks). My thoughts - I kept my old beat up ones so if I have to get the wheels taken off by shop other than me for any reason (new tires for example), they can impact wrench the old ones. Then I bring the car home and put my factory ones back on.
Just a lil' preventative maintenance.

They have pressed-on caps. They seem to hold up well unless you go crazy with an impact, especially if the socket is worn out.

I've had the DMCH lugnuts on my car since 2009. They don't look exactly like stock, but are close and I haven't had issues with the caps coming loose. I'd recommend them!

I have several of these mixed with my OEM ones. They are fine. No problems to report. Have had several for at least two years.

One of the biggest reasons for damage to the lug nuts is from worn or improper size impact sockets. Many shops will use english and metric interchangably and if you do not use the metric size the english size fits loosely but it will still fit. After a few uses the lugs will eventually round over so no size fits properly. The solid lug nuts are a big improvement if you can find them.

Can't say for sure about these, but many of the "cross reference" lug nuts stick out too far when installed on the front wheels. See the photos below of a typical cross-reference and the correct, OEM-style lug nut.

I'd like to see what you've got on your car, David. Ours are *exactly* like stock - made to the original drawings. I just compared one from the warehouse location to one just removed from a 4,xxx mile car here in the shop. They are pictured below.

The look in your second picture is exactly why I returned my first set of solid nuts. It looks awful! I ended up with a shorter one with a pressed on cap but the caps are all loose and I have lost more than one already. I like the look of the original style ones and the height is obviously perfect, I'm just worried about losing all the caps. I haven't had a shop work on the car with the current lugs and I think we've only used an impact one time to remove the wheels. It was the right size socket, of course. Normally I'd do it by hand with a torque wrench but I think we were feeling lazy one day.
Out of curiosity James, since you're here now - is there a manufacturing reason why the caps aren't typically glued on with designs like this? Original, replica, 3rd party, whatever.. it seems like they'd all benefit from a drop of glue.

I just pulled one off my car to compare to my originals. The OEM is on the left, DMCH on the right. You are correct, they are the exact same dimensions.

The main difference is how far they seat into the rim. They don't stick out like the cross reference one you posted, but they don't seat quite as deeply as OEM (though very slight). Since both OEM and the DMCH lugs are below the rim I didn't do a picture from the side, but the OEM lug does sit slightly deeper than the DMCH one. Here is my wheel with 3 DMCH lugs and 1 OEM lug.

OEM lug is the bottom most one.
Now a picture with all DMCH lugs:

It is hard to see in a picture, but the DMCH lug is ever so slightly higher. Again, I recommend these as replacements for the OEMs, I've been very happy with them and think they look great.
