Shaky door mirror

Hi everyone,

My passenger door mirror has the shakes when I'm driving the car. It's not the mirror itself, but the assembly. I looked to see if there was a way to tighten it, but can't work it out. There's an access flap underneath, but all I can see is the cabling for the mirror motor.

Suggestions?

Sounds like you're gonna have to take some of that interior paneling off. I've never done it, but I'm guessing a couple extensions and the appropriate socket and you'll be well on your way!

Was thinking that I may well have to do this to investigate why.

It's not where it's fixed to the door, but the wing of the mirror is loose. Could always find some black plastic and jam it into the gap. Maybe I need a new mirror.

Awesome! Good luck getting it sorted. It looked like Mark went to a lot of trouble so I hope his instructions make it easier on you than it sounds like it was on him :)

The pics are fantastic and being a visual person, a pic has a thousand words! :) Maybe this clip has moved hence why it wobbles a little.
