Find a good boat repair shop. I'll bet there are a few in a place called "Portland".

You can also try any body shop that is familiar with repairing Corvettes. They would be able to do a fiberglass repair. That is an unusual kind of problem for a Delorean. Maybe there was a passenger that exceeded the weight limit? Another possibility is someone tried to jack the car up and did it in that spot.

That's why you need the "No Fat Chicks" sticker on your car.

actually that is not so hard to repair you know. is the crack between the mountingholes from the seat?
If you can drill holes at the end of the cracs asap so they can not go any further. Remove the carpet also.

I found a crack under my passenger seat when I bought my car. One of the easiest things I have ever repaired on the car. As said before just drill a hole at eitherbend of the crack and fibreglass over it.

My crack is kinda long, it is from one seat bolt over to the outside edge and is the length of the seat.
I have no idea how it got that bad without me noticing. I got the car like 3 months ago and did the whole fuel system and didn't notice a thing when I was under there.

I repaired a crack myself that was in the rear pontoon close to the engine bay. It was my first attempt at fiberglass repair. It turned out great. The fix is rigid and proper. I also did some fiberglass work on my rear louvre where I had a handful of bad cracks.

All you need is the glass mesh, resin, some rubber gloves and a couple of throw away paint brushes. Of course you'll want to prep the area first with a grinder and some sandpaper.

And in a location like yours, you don't have to make it the prettiest thing as the carpet will cover it. The only time you'd notice I suppose is when the car is on a lift. Even then you could sand, fill and paint the underside if you really wanted to.

Very true, when it gets parked for the winter I will look at it closer and maybe I'll try to do it.
I just don't want it to look like a crap job.

That shit causes lung cancer, and using a grinder without one is quite dangerous for anyone's health, both yours and those nearby (including animals and pets).

Thanks for that advice!! I have a respirator at work I'll use it for that.

Can you reach the end of the crack? Does it move when you push this?
What I would do;

Get a set of resin and fibreglass 2 sets of brushes or rollers. Remove the seat and carpet. Drill the hole at the other end. sand both inside and outside and clean. Tape of the crack and holes at the underside.
Poor the resin over the length of the crack and see that the resin runs into the crack and into both holes, add 2 layers of resin. Allow to cure.

Underside; remove tape, with a brush go over the full length of the crack, at least 5 inches wide, and add the fibreglass. I'dd add 3 layers at least.
After curing drill the hole for the seat again. put the carpet and seat back.
Not a tough job, but mess. Wear gloves at all times.

Takes 2 hours in total, curing times not calculated. PM me is you have questions.
If you do not like to do this yourself, go to a boatshop but you should fix this.

I guess it is never a bad idea to check for cracks at the underside, I always take a look at the frame. I'm sure there are more Deloreans with a crack out there.
