DeLorean radio (newer version) touch screen problem..

So the radio that I have in it is visible in the attached photo. This 13971was installed by DMCH in 2008. Works good except that the touchscreen just flashes a blank screen. Any ideas??

If it is a removable face radio panel, make sure the pins are making proper contact with each other. After opening and closing for a number of times, the pins can wear and cause a space.

That was the issue I had with my last vid display unit.

Rothsean - where in TX are you? If you're near Dallas, bring it by my casa and I'll take a look at it with you. I'm pretty handy with 12V DC stuff.

I've seen the little spring-loaded pins get stuck also, which would cause a gap.

I checked the little spring loaded contacts, they all seem to be working properly. The screen goes from blank to flashing pink/red.

Are there places that can diagnose this?
