Would anyone mind posting pics of their self bleeder kit installation in the engine compartment and radiator? I have Toby and Misty's and the instructions are so-so. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks in advance.

Please see the three pictures I attached for the installation of the Coolant Self Bleeder.

Here's a couple more pictures in addition to Mark's instructions. Just to give you some more ideas on routing the hoses. After the tee, I put the isolation valve in and then ran it along the coolant reservoir. It snakes alongside the back of the rear fascia and is zip tied in a couple places. I did a little loop type thing on the left side with the end that attachs under the deice shield, partly because I didn't want to cut any extra length of hose off right away, but also to give the hose a chance to enter the fitting at the same angle as the fitting, i.e. without putting a bend in it right at the fitting.

EDIT: actually, looking at Mark's photo, maybe the loop did put an extra bend in it?? I'd have to look under again to remind myself why I did that. Probably that the hose was a bit long, but it might have been in search of a pre-existing hole in the bumper to put a zip tie through. Didn't want to do any drilling unless I had to.

Thanks for the pics, guys. I really appreciate it.

Do either of you have pics of the radiator setup, too? My kit from DPNW came with the engine compartment setup and the radiator setup, too.

Thanks again.

I have these parts too left over from my kit, but never installed them. I am likely going to change my coolant soon, so if we get some pictures of how they get installed, I might put mine on as well.

I just reread your question and I don't know anything about a Self Bleeder next to the Radiator. The pictures I posted are the Self Bleeder in the engine compartment.
Perhaps take a picture (preferably outdoors) of the Self Bleeder you received for the Radiator and we can all guess how to install it.

I just checked DeLorean Parts Northwest and I see now the part number K1017DP Wings-B-Cool tm Radiator Bleeder Kit $17.95.
I might just have to get one myself.

Thanks for the reply, Mark. Here's the kit I picked up for $49.95. It has hardware for both the engine and radiator for bleeding:

It has instructions for both the engine compartment and radiator setup but the pics aren't the greatest. I'm sure someone has a picture of their radiator setup somewhere. And yes, I'll post pics of the hardware but I'm at work and won't be home for awhile. I'll do it asap. Thanks again.

I found that blog and it gets into the installation a little bit. Really simple from what I can tell with the pic. It's just the inline bleeder valve connected to the smaller top hose on the radiator.
