Anyone know about this car for sale?

Getting serious about purchasing my first Delorean. Found a car on autotrader that looks good. Does anyone know about this car?

Just general stuff here - I do not know this car. What can be seen in the photos looks OK. Clean and mostly original.
You need to get closer to check

Frame rust?
Front fascia straight, no eyebrows?
Engine and tranny work well cold and hot?
A/C operates?
Power windows OK?

The asking price is fair if there are no major issues. The list is longer than this.

And what is it with the cruise control they list here? That would be an owner mod and the hardware for it is hard to see on the turn signal stalk or in the engine bay. An owner since 1999 is unlikely to list is incorrectly. Small thing.

If you look at the engine bay picture, I think you can see what is likely part of the cruise control. You can see a cable drapped across the A/C compressor leading over to the throttle spool. And also some sort of black box/housing in the normally empty area up and to the left. That's probably related to the cruise control, but you're right, no obvious buttons on the steering wheel or stalks.

I recall that mystery black cylinder in the LH part of the engine bay of another car and someone (Dave S iirc) identified it as part of the cruise system.

I have been emailing this person and here is his response to some questions:
Any rust issues on the frame? No, At least I am not aware of any rust issues.
Since I live in Florida, AC is a big issue for me. Does the AC blow cold when the temp outside is above 85 degrees? It has always been cold. However, I think it could use a re-charge. It rarely gets that hot in Oregon.
Current radio/sound system? Original Speakers - I would replace them and the radio /casette player if I was going to use the car as a daily driver.
Even if the car needs no current work, are there projects you were going to work on that the car would need in the near future? ex. new clutch, water pump, window regulators? Clutch is good, regulators are good, water pump is good. I would watch the Alternator, it is registering 12 - 13 but doesn't seem to be a problem - may be the gauge.

I don't have the time to fly to Oregon. I know people strongly suggest never buying a car that you have not inspected or driven. I was thinking about getting a PPI by one of those internet firms. Do you think this is too risky?

I purchased my car sight unseen. I don't regret it at all. Get the mechanic to put the car on a lift and send you frame pics. Find out if there are any leaks. Find out what electrical upgrades have been done (if any). You can't get enough pics.

I used escrow.com when I purchased mine. They give you a 3-day inspection period to accept or refuse the car.

Besides being exceptionally clean, there are some clues this car belongs to a DeLorean enthusiast. The brushed stainless coolant bottle, Yokohama AVS tires, DMC Houston seatcovers, fresh headliners with new backer boards, added cruise control, new intake heatstove, etc. As long as there are no major issues (frame rot, stuff like that) this looks to be an exceptionally nice example & a great buy.
