I searched the GT102575 part number and they only seem to be available from DeLorean vendors. Are they that hard to find? Is there an alternative performance filter from K&N or another manufacturer? I thought it would be easy to find at any auto-supply store and I don't want to pay for international shipping for something as simple as an air filter.

Amazon.com. They're dirt cheap. Like 10 bucks.

Just looked them up on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/33-2726-High-Performance-Replacement-Filter/dp/B000E5U4ES/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351562848&sr=8-1&keywords=K%26N+332726) and they've gotten way more expensive.

Part number is 33-2726

Ah ha! New part number - thanks. I should be able to get one of these at Canadian Tire or PartSource.

For what a K & N costs (and the cleaning kit) and the dubious benefits, IMHO it isn't worth it. Stick with the stock filter and if you feel you have to, just change it more often.

It does make a difference on carbureted or EFI vehicles, I would think it will also make a difference on Deloreans too.
