Did someone on this forum buy the red Delorean in Brevard,NC? I`d like to know when you find out,what caused the gap in the "A" pillar.Just curious.6864Steve.

Yes, that is correct. My bet is roof cage rot.

Not sure yet, could be the roof but it almost seems like someone left the door open and may have back into something which misaligned the door. Fortunately, I have another door if needed. For now, the gas tank will be drained and it will be stored for the winter. I've got a 1993 Mustang Convertible that needs my attention.
