Today was the first day I had an opportunity to look over the Red Delorean (Vin# 11408) and start working on it. I'm getting ready to store the car for the winter and knew the gas needed to be siphoned out. The previous owner stated there was a problem with the fuel delivery and I think I may have figured out why. Today I did the following:

1. Shiphoned the gas.
2. Cleaned the gas tank with acentone.
3. Cleaned the trunk.
4. Removed the screen cowl and repainted.
5. Removed surface rust on the front frame extension, treated and POR-15.

Busy damn day! Here's some pictures.

Here's some more pictures. I'm 99% sure one of the previous owners painted the spare wheel gold but who knows.

They did a much better job painting that Delorean. The panels need to come off to be properly stripped. But yes, if you buy her Chris I'll strip the car ;)

Dang!!! What happened???? I mentioned to Chris I'd sell for it for $8,500 if he had a serious buyer and now it's for sale across the world!

Kenny is right, the panels need to come off to remove the paint or to properly repaint. The reason I'm even considering selling the car is because of an 83 I found in someone's front yard that needs to be bought before its too late. I'd also like to make another attempt to buy 15002 ( the first 83).

The car is currently stored in West TN which is 2.5 hours from Nashville.
