Hi all,

I was wondering is there is anything wrong with using S/S bolts on the alternator bracket? The whole bracket has been painted with POR-15 and thinking of using S/S bolts, does it interfere with negative ground, or doesn't play a role in it?

A SS bolt will conduct electrical current just as good as a steel bolt. If your bracket is painted, the bolt would have to cut through that paint to conduct. Your alternator probably gets it's ground on the mounting bolt.
