You need a bolt on pulley (steel Volvo pulley does work).

I am running a Volvo 264 waper pump with a bolt on pulley from Hervey. Works just fine. Look on RockAuto for a great deal on the water pump.

B280 uses a different water pump (takeoff is on Cylinder 1-3 side of the pump). Y pipe is of course correspondingly different as well, with a big curvy bend.

My waterpump started leaking, so last winter it was replaced by a volvo pump. The rear part was milled especially for this setup.
It makes more rotations, and the last season it has been behaving exceptionally well.
