Any tips or advice when replacing the CPR?

Use caution when pulling the electrical plug off. The wires are delicate and can break without you knowing it.

A specific reason to replace it (other that not reparable)?
Up to now I have not seen a CPR that couldn't be repared.
If the problem is not electrical good cleaning is all it needs.
If you are equiped with patience, some technical insight you are capable of "restoring" this device.

Welomed, perhaps you could post a "how-to" on rebuilding/cleaning a CPR... for those of us who don't know how.

Now that you mention it, I totally forgot documenting it.
I'll try to roll back and do a write up from memory.
Will post it once finished for the How To section.
However don't hold your breath as I'm quite busy now (inventory, financial year needs closing, DD needs attention).
Remind me end of January if I haven't fulfilled my promise.
