I have 4141 parts gearbox from a Renault 30.
I noticed there is a big difference in the dipstick fill levels between the Delorean and Renault.
In the pictures the Delorean dipstick is the thin one and the Renault is the wider one.

I have been filling my gearbox up to the correct level on the Delorean dipstick (Thin one), but I am now wondering if I have been underfilling it?

In the picture you can just see the French word "Chaud" (Hot) and "Friod" (Cold).

As you can see if I filled the box to the same level as the Renault "Chaud" (Hot) shows, it would be on the coiled part of the delorean dipstick. According to the manual over filled.

Do I have the correct Delorean dipstick?

Which fill level should be used?

Are there any more variations out there?

You must measure for the other end to the low and high fill levels. If the dipstick tube is longer (and the dipstick) you cannot mix and match dipsticks and tubes.
