Cheap Marty's vest

I found a pretty inexpensive puffer style vest, kind of like one from BTTF. Only $25. They even have red ones. I bought black one. It's light and not bulky. It's perfect for driving a sports car in a cold weather. Keeps me warm while I shift gears and move through traffic. Haven't tried it in D since mine is still in the shop. Ugh...:cry:

First off - I'm a bit of a purist so I'll admit that right up front.

It seems none of the colors are quite right for a Marty vest. It should be more orange than the reds offered and the orange is too light in color. Most people would probably not notice but like I said, I'm a stickler for details.

I bought this same vest when they had them for sale at Sears. I like it and it does the job. It goes quite nice with my Diamond Select FC that fluxes the wrong way and is a lighter shade of gray.

For anyone who hasn't seen this, someone recently found an exact match to the one in the movie. Solved a looooooong standing mystery in the BTTF costume/prop community. The original was definitely orange, and not any shade of red.
