I think the parking brake is dragging on the left side of my car.. but only when i reverse out of my driveway it squeals.. any suggestions??? could the rotor be warped a bit and causeing it?? I am still on original rear rotors.. thanks...Dave...

Here's the solution.
Remove all four Parking Brake Pads.
Now grind off the leading and trailing edge of the Parking Brake Pads where they contact the Brake Disc.
Only grind off 1/8" from the original 90 degree edge.
Now reinstall the Pads and you're good to go.
I used to have a terribly annoying squeeeeeeeaaallllll from the left rear brake and brake disc only when backing out of my parking space at my apartment building. It was embarrassing to hear such a loud squeal only when backing up. Now I no longer have any squeal after grinding away the outer edge of the Pads.
Try it at don't forget to report back and let us know if this worked.

It is possible you are not getting full release. Raise the wheel and watch the parking brake as someone applies and releases it. You can also try turning the axle.
