Wow, that is sweet. The lit up aspect makes it look almost surreal.

I thought I would share another thing that came to mind with a lot of controls, buttons, switches and what not. This is a 5 minute video on the return to service and sync to the grid of one of the nuclear reactors here. You can see the control room in a number of the images. It is quite the mess of buttons and switches. And in contrast to how brilliant and sophisticated the Space Shuttle must be, the majority of what you see in this nuclear plant was dreamed up in the late 60s or early 70s. And without a lot of computers to help. Amazing what can be accomplished.

That cockpit picture would look great blown up to a 50"x30" poster size, set in a shadow box and lit with fiber optic and LED lights...hmmmmmm:cool:
