Anyone know the owner of the car in this photo shoot with Die Antwoord? I'm used to getting links from friends and being able to say "I think I know whose car that is...." - but not this time!

Don't know who owns it, but it sure looks like untouched factory grain on the hood.

that is definitely one odd band. Aren't they from South Africa?

In the 3rd pic the building in the back left looks very familiar, I just can't place it as I've not seen it in person. That might at least narrow down the area where the pic was taken and who lives in the area.

Yeah, South Africa. I thought the same thing about that building.

I'd bet money that in the close up shot of Ninja sitting in the passenger side, the guy in the blue button-down off to the right is the owner.

And as for the photo, it must be an LA based DeLorean, "The Hundreds" did a DeLorean inspired line recently and I know they teamed up with DMC-CA for some of their stuff and for cars. So that would be my guess.

I would +1 on this. I don't think Ford sell Econoline vans outside of the US.

No reason to, since the transit is awesome and hugely popular everywhere else.

The Transit is making big inroads in the US... it's a totally awesome van. Surprising they took this long to bring it over given the popularity it enjoys in Europe and considering the Sprinter was meanwhile cornering the US market for exactly that type of vehicle here.

So with the LA lead I found this:

It was definitely at a The Hundreds event (can't believe I didn't notice those watermarks on the photos before...), and the photos were taken in LA after their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Still dunno whose car it is, but the story is taking shape :)
