But the movie was still called Groundhog Day. (Romantic Comedy) Oddly enough I watched it last weekend (on Ground hog day) Scrooged was based the classic Christmas Carol

The story line from IMDB Ground hog Day:

A weather man is reluctantly sent to cover a story about a weather forecasting "rat" (as he calls it). This is his fourth year on the story, and he makes no effort to hide his frustration. On awaking the 'following' day he discovers that it's Groundhog Day again, and again, and again. Absolutely they do. Notice the DMC logo is (tm). Old Navy would have had to sign an agreement with DMCH to use the logo. Hopefully they get a few pennies per shirt sale. But more likely are just getting paid a licensing FEE if anything.

They also likely Own the TM for those three words (Delorean Motor Company) not the originally printed media/advertisements of the defunct company. But rather anything since Stephen incorporated as Delorean Motor Company (Texas) as there company name.

But since the shirt I was wearing was old and already shrunk, I went one size up and bought an XXL. After washing, it shrank to what I would consider a "roomy" XL.

I saw one of them catering at Jacob's Field and freaked the hell out. When did DMCH get into the sports catering business?!




Turns out, someone pounced on the open trademark and the chance to integrate their company's name into it. Deleware North Companies (http://dncboston.com/) is behind it, and they do all kinds of catering for baseball venues. Their logo is an adapted version of the DMC trademark without the outline. Why DMCH didn't go after that one and then claim the outline trademark is too similar to be owned by anyone else is beyond me. But frankly, all these "DMC" emblems being placed on headliners, carpets, seats and such are perfectly legit to sell and market as long as there's no outline.

Are you saying the size is already small to begin with, and washing it makes it even smaller, or that the size is fine until it's washed? I normally wear a large, but can fit a medium (I prefer my shirts a bit baggy), so should I be looking for a large or an XL? :hmm:

Well, I do know Steve owns a DMC logo.
The first time I saw it not on a DeLorean it was on an old 70s Chevy pick-ups tail gate, took up the whole thing, bug black DMC logo. I found the owner and asked him what it stood for and he said "Dane Motor Company", he then explained it was where he got the truck from.

I normally wear size L, and the L shirt at Old Navy fits well....not baggy though, but fits like all the other Old Navy L shirts I've bought in the past.

...which it probably isn't.Actually it is. I just googled my closet on a hunch and found a shirt of mine that is a Hanes Beefy T. It's a large like 90% of the rest of my shirts, and fits the exact same as the rest of the large shirts in my closet. Only two of my shirts are mediums out of about 25-30, so I think when Old Navy gets these in stock, I'll try the large. Thanks! :)

I found one of these a couple days ago. The Old Navy near Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke had some. The one in Guelph's Stone Road Mall though did not.

Oddly enough, the line item on the receipt for the shirt says:

MOV BACK TO TH

Which is bizarre because it is a DMC shirt and not a BTTF shirt. Kind of hints at what most people think of when they see our cars :)
