BTTF location tour part II

I went back to LA yesterday for the sole purpose of finishing up the BTTF tour. 500 miles, no distractions. My GF came with me again, and is so good to me; she totally understands my fanaticism and gets excited for me too. She put up with a full day (14 hours counting travel time!) of this. And she did it two weeks ago too!

A few people approached us here. One couple, they were as excited to see a Delorean at the mall as we were to be in a Delorean at the mall lol. They took some pics, I let there infant sit in the car for some pics, and they took this video clip.

Obviously, the parking lot is much smaller in real life than it appears in the movie. I didn't leave first gear haha. I wound it up pretty high, but couldn't quite hit 88.

We got to the school at 2:30pm, perfect timing. School was letting out, so there where kids everywhere and we didn't stand out too much. There is a fence all around the school and it was open (prob locked during the school-day) so we just walked in. Confidence is key.

I've been to the starting line/tunnel before, but it was too dark and my pictures came out poorly. These are much better

We tried to go inside the church in Hollywood where the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance was held, but it was all locked up. Oh well, It wasn't a must see anyway. We also skipped the Battle of the Bands auditorium on our last trip, and on this trip we skipped Hilldale 2015 (it't in a gated community and I didn't want to waste time waiting to sneak in the gate for a minor pic). I was at Lyon Estates 2015 in Nov 2011, a few days after moving to CA, so all that remains is the parking garage for Biff's casino and the Courthouse Square, both at Universal Studios Hollywood. We plan on going there before the end of April.

I was able to get into the church where they filmed the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance but it took about 20 min to pursued the person answering the intercom that I'm not crazy and just wanted to see where the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance was filmed.

The Battle of the Bands location was a bit easier as they were doing construction and the Foreman was super cool with letting me take all the pictures I wanted.

I didn't make it to the mall. Dam LA traffic!

We tried the intercom at the church, for a few min but there was no answer. It was getting late, we were getting hungry, had a long drive home in front of us and we needed to find a bathroom, so we left.
We drove right past the Battle of tge Bands last time, but skipped it b/c we were on a time crunch (what am I talking about? I've got a time machine, I've got all the time in the world!)
The mall was a must-see for me. It and Marty's house were the highest priority. Everything else was icing on the cake.

Aah, that's just from getting the links confused as I was posting it, I knew which was which when I was there. Actually, one page with the addresses listed incorrectly shows a different house, across the street, as the on that Biff threw the ball onto. Similar, but I brought pics from the webpage and screenshots from the movie, the page defenitely shows the wrong house.
All the houses used are on the same side of the street. Facing the houses, from left to right, it's Biff's house, another house, the house he threw the ball on, Lorraine's house, another house, then George's house.

They all seem to tolerate it. The owner of Marty's house came outside while I was there, moved a car into the driveway and drove away in another, didn't even look at me. Lorraine's house's owner was leaving as I was there too, didn't acknowledge my presence. I was sure to be unobtrusive; didn't go up the driveway or make a scene, just pulled up, spent a few min taking pics/being excited, and went on to the next historic site. The owners of a house across the street from Jennifer's house saw me and came out to take a picture, they were amused.

I'm working on it... I showed her the "Girls and Deloreans" thread, told her it was her density; She seemed receptive....

Marty's house is on foursquare as 'BTTF Filming location- Marty's house'. I added the Temporal Experiment Number One site and a few others to foursquare myself that day.
I spent the whole day saying lines from BTTF, you should've seen me at the mall, it was ridiculous.
