As posted before, I'm doing a resto on my suspension and rehabing my frame a bit. I did the POR-15 (with all the proper pre/post prep) and then Rattle can Rustoleum Smoke gray. It looks fine now, but the spray paint is so fragile and thin. I'm sure it won't last long.

I found this on the official DMC site.

17232

It's not available now, but apparently there was a source for touch up epoxy.

Most of my 30 year+ frame epoxy is in good shape, I'd like to make my touch up as durable as that.

Is there a source for the 2 part epoxy used for the frame.. or a matching (or very close) color?

Thanks
Jeff

Epoxy has a shelf life even if it is not mixed. It was probably way past it's useful life so none of the venders have it anymore and with little call for it no one wants to stock something that will go bad just sitting on a shelf. Try an Internet search for an epoxy you can color. You may have to mix your own color to match and then mix up the epoxy. you may have better luck trying to spot repair with powder and a heat gun instead of epoxy.
