Re-wrapping the ceiling of the car..

The fabric on the ceiling of the interior of the car is horrible. It is very loose now and very dusty. It seems like it turns to dust when I touch it.

Anyways, is there a way to clean it and is there a procedure somewhere for removing that whole panel to re-wrap it?

This is the interior of the car above your head, not the door section above your head, but the part that has the dome light and runs back to the rear windshield.

Once that dust starts you can forget about stopping it. The only option is to wrap it with new fabric. I'd do the center section and the door panels at the same time. I underestimated and ran out of cloth during this project. I bought some more, same "color name" from the same store by the same manufacturer but the color was slightly different. I didn't notice until I was reinstalling the door headliner sections. I was not happy. I still haven't redone it.

I think there are some instructions on removing the panels around here somewhere. Basically remove the visors and pull forward on the T to remove it. The rear comes out after that.

The glue I used was lousy. I'm going to try the 3M brand next time around. Basically I stretched, glued, and used sand bags to help hold everything down and then a ton of clips to keep the edges in check.

I bought it at Pepboys. It was a medium gray. When I do it again I'm either going to check Joann's or order from here: http://www.yourautotrim.com/ I purchased some of the fabric for my seats from them and was not disappointed.
