Im in the middle of a engine overhaul and while im at it I figure to replace some trans parts and every where I look there out of stock. Im looking for 102512 clutch disc - 102573 press plate - 103245 throw out bearing - 102569 pilot bearing. DMCH has a kit but out of stock - DPNW has a kit (very expensive) but also out of stock. Special t Auto has a kit but just not sure it will work and his shipping is very slow(usually). Im on sort of a tight time frame. Any ideas? Any cross over parts that we know will work? Should I just go with Special t auto? You guy have not let me down yet, so i tur to you. Help !!

We have the same kit as DMCH - in stock. We're still travelling but Mike at the shop can take/ship the order.
Julee and I will be back in the shop on Wednesday.

Go with Dave's kit. I had nothing but trouble with the Special T one (clutch disk was too thick and couldn't be disengaged)

Actually out of full disclosure and respect to Josh I should say I ended up with DPI's clutch kit since all the DMC franchises were cleaned out when I had my problems with the Special T kit. And Josh's kit was great, is working perfectly and came with his usual high level of service. But given the options you mentioned, between DMCMW and Special T, DMCMW is the clear winner. :)

We also have a great deal on stainless clutch line kits with the hardline section running across the transmission. On sale this week both for 119.94.

yes but I can't ship until our current pallet from Valeo clears customs.... Early next week at best. Other clutch items are in stock ready to ship though.

When doing the clutch you should also disassemble and inspect the clutch slave cylinder and if necessary rebuild or replace it. It goes without saying, if you still have the plastic line you should replace it with a S/S Braided one (there, I said it!). The other thing you *could* do as long as the transmission is out is to crack it open and check/replace the roll pins and make sure the nut on the shaft is tight and staked/locked in place.
