Can someone please verify all wires are in the correct spot and that nothing looks out of place? I can NOT get the left signal indicator to work and its the only thing I need to pass my safety! Bulb is good and there is blinking voltage at the G/R wire like there should be. It just doesn't seem to go to the right place :hmm:

Your wiring at the connector is fine. For future reference the pinout diagram is attached.

I'm confused, you need the indicator to pass safety? Does the turn signal itself work and just the dash indicator doesn't work? If that's the case and you have voltage, then you just need to clean all your contacts. The continuity with those little bulb holders in the binnacle can be pretty crappy. I still have them flicker periodically and I've cleaned the lots of times.

Thanks Nick, I tried to find that earlier and couldn't.

Yes, turn signal itself works, just not the indicator on the dash. Seems like a stupid reason to fail a safety, but maybe that's just me. I tried cleaning everything once already, but I'll give it all a second going over.

Yea wow, definitely seeks like a stupid reason to fail, lol.

So you're sure that the proper wire is powered when the turn signal is on? When it's plugged into the binnacle does the power make it to the bulb? Could it be that the other side of the socket isn't grounded? Perhaps a crack in the circuit board traces? Those binnacle cellophane type circuit boards are not the most robust. Are any of your other lights/indicators not working?

I just took a scotch brite pad to them until every copper connecting surface wash shiney. Still no go. And yes, its the ONLY one not working.

:banghead: I'm an idiot. I FINALLY realized the bulb I thought was the turn signal, was not actually the turn signal. The row along the very top is just general instrument lighting. So I replaced the bad bulb and all is good now.

Haha! You had me scratching my head too on this one. It's all good; glad you figured it out. Now go pass safety! haha
