Time to change my air filter and the Fram and STP filters I have used in the past are now disc. according to the 2 part stores I use the most. What are you guys using and where are you buying? I`d wouldn`t mind a re-usable/cleanable K&N. Thanks,Steve 6864.

No complaints here about the $7 variety from a DMC franchise.

On a side note, do you know how to fix that annoying way your keyboard up and starts typing backwards apostrophes and frenchie-E's instead of question marks?

I got the K+N filter from Dave at DMCMW about 2 or 3 years ago...no complaints. Just pick up a recharge kit locally for cleaning and re-oiling. I do mine about every 3k miles, or every Spring, whichever comes first.

I'm sure it's avaliable at your local parts store if you don't want to wait. I believe it's number 33-2726 but don't quote me on that. You could take your old filter and match them up.

Because you don't change the filters all that often (most of us don't use the car all that much) and the filters are not all that expensive from the Delorean venders, you might just order it from your favorite vender. Get an oil filter too. Keep an extra on hand for the next oil change. If you have a 5-speed you should also always have an extra pivot bolt for the shift linkage. Two of the few extra parts every Delorean owner should always have along with some spare fuses by the fuse box.

Yes, I`m aware that it is available from vendors. Not going to pay shipping for a filter, even if I bundle it with other items. Advance has a private label called Driveworks for filters. It is item DW-23465.$6.99.Thanks.Steve 6864.
