I don't recognize the head as being specifically DeLorean.
That being said, it might have been a suitable replacement for something like the ones holding the inertia switch to it's bracket or the service counter. Total guess mind you.
Was it just lying there under your floor mat or something? Or did you work on some stuff and this is what was left over?

Looks like something that you'd find in the door internals. Hear any rattling in there? Handle feel loose at all?

Seems I remember some short threaded bolts like that in there too (been a while though).

This type of bolt is used to attach the radio support bracket to the radio.
If it's a 6mm bolt and the length is no longer than some 10 mms, here you go.
I however miss the spring washer that usually is attached to it.
I've never found a bolt like this one in the door internals.
But... who am I?

Ah, that would make sense. I have the center console out right now for a radio replacement. I've been keeping track of all the screws, bolts, and whatnot and this one just appeared. I did pull out an old alarm system but it was just kind of floating around under the dash, wasn't secured to anything. So this bolt for the rear bracket the bolt that attaches to the car or the bolt that attaches to the radio? Because I have the bolt for the radio and the bracket is still in place.

You the man!!!
