Anyone know the pinout on the DMCH on/off switch for the center console?

Looking at the back of the switch it looks like is should be a SPDT type switch but acts more like a SPST with an extra leg. Hooking it up to my meter, I've not no continuity between any of the three terminals with the switch off, turning the switch on everything has continuity.

That's how they all work. It gives contact to the defog indicator and the defog unit.

Damn, I was hoping it was a SPDT switch. Oh well, I'll make it work. Thanks!

Yep - that's where relays come in handy.

Indeed. I have one DMCH switch controlling my front fog lights, and another DMCH switch controlling my blue underbody lights. It is a piece of cake to use these switches with a relay.

Eventually I'll have to put a relay in there purely for aesthetics. The load I'll be "switching" is actually always on, the switch is for a cut off switch. Just wanted to make it look like there wasn't one switch ON all the time!
