Hi,
Being a new owner and with car show/cruise night season quickly approaching, I'm interested to know how long I can reasonably expect to keep the doors open with the lights activated before I should start to worry about the battery. I have LEDs in the doors. What have been people's experiences with this?
Thanks.

If you are only powering the LED door lights, All day long if you want.

I have left my doors open for several days and had no issue.

Doors w/LEDs on: Overnight (at least, that is how long I've had them on, to test it out). If you've got a good charge to start, a good electrical system, it won't affect your start up power needs for a while (days).

Door lights only draw about 200 ma. So takes 5 hours to drain 1 amp/hour from the battery. Your battery is most likly rated for 50 or more amp/hours.

Yup, that's about right.
And looking at my blog write up, my Door Lights + Dome Lights + Footwell Lights (all in LED), are drawing 170 ma total.
