That's my car in the article. It started as a post on Reddit earlier and seems to have exploded all over the internet from there.

This all started with Tony Swann's daily driver DeLorean that was photographed on I-90 this past weekend.

Tony was out driving in the dry and sunny weather, after last weeks flooding throughout the Chicagoland area.

The photo was a shot on I-90 from behind, with the license plate that gets a lot of attention ... NO ROADS

This is correct. I noticed someone posted a picture of Tony's car on Reddit's r/chicago page and sent him a link to it on facebook.

The next day, someone posted a picture of my car on r/chicago mistakenly thinking it was the same DeLorean that was posted the previous day.

I totally saw this on reddit today! It made it to r/bestof today which is pretty cool. I subscribe to r/delorean even though there are pretty much never any updates. Was surprised to actually see something on my front involving a DeLorean, both from r/delorean and r/bestof! Very cool!!

Only a DeLorean could cause this kind of stir. You're going to have a lot more people taking pictures of your car now.

The sentence structure in that article is a little weird. "Meanwhile, the driver of the DeLorean, Corey Ooms, also snapped a photo of the fire, which caused no serious injuries." I'm glad Corey snapping the photo didn't cause any serious injuries. ;)
