Well, I finally decided to upgrade the speaker system in my D, and am interested in adding some speakers to the kick panel / foot well areas on both the driver and passenger side.
I've seen others mention that DMC-CA offers something that accomodates a 6" round speaker, but can't seem to find any pictures of this product. If anyone could post a pic of the DMC-CA offering (uninstalled without speakers in them), as well as fully installed in their car, I would appreciate it very much!
Also, if anyone would be kind enough to answer the following questions about the enclosures, that woudl be great:
Can the speaker mount be slightly enlarged to accodate a 6.5" round speaker?
What is the material it's made out of (ie fibergalss, particle board, plywood, etc)?
Fully installed, does it aim the speakers sound output upward at all, or just across from its mounting location and into the center console?
How much are they?
If you're using these in your car, what are your personal impressions?
If anyone else offers a similar competing product, please let me know and post pics along with your impressions of those!
