A little while ago, there was a sidebar conversation about the pressure gauge in Canadian spec cars reading in kg/cm2. (Unfortunately I can’t find that picture right now.)


Were any of the other instrumentation/labels also in metric units?

Two that come to mind are the gross weight values on the VIN plates (in lbs) and the tire pressure sticker (in psi).

I am pretty sure the Canadian spec clusters also read in metric volts, which are calculated by V = I*R for extremely metric values of I and R. :)

I do not have a photo of my VIN tag handy (at work) for my Canadian Spec DeLorean, but Shannon has my tag posted with the DMC TX VIN List:

I do not recall any labels being different than stock, but I will look around and check a few of them, to see if any are unique to the Canadian Spec.

If noone posts a photo of their gauge cluster in the next few days, I will try to take a photo of mine (if I get to my storage building this weekend).
